Goals
As the year 2025 comes to an end—whether blissful or not, and the year 2026 draws further, people reflect on the past year, mistakes, choices that could have been made better, people they could have met, relationships they could have fixed by being more gentle: more understanding or more supportive.
The end of the year is a perfect time to reflect, however many get stuck in the reflection and find it hard to make actionable goals or carve a clear path forward.
They call them “New year Resolutions” , i call it “The high of change” , you feel change and you want to change with the year but you revert to your old habits and fall back into old patterns in but a month of entering the new year.
This article is not to help you become a better person or help you not mess up your life, it is here as a reminder that the fact that you set Resolutions at the beginning of the year means that you have an obligation to your self to see it to the end at the very least.
New Year Resolutions are fragile, they crumble at the sight of any difficulty because they are shallow, not well thought out, does not account for the fact that you do not and will not live in an ideal world and that there are various circumstances that will get in your way.
One way you can convert your Resolutions to fully fledged goals is to expand on them, define exactly what you want in the next year, the steps it will take to get there and the habits needed to achieve what you so desire or better still want out of life.
Goals on the other hand, are concrete and well outlined roadmaps of what the selected timeframe will look like, goals account for the fact that it won't always be rosy, the fact that you may feel the world turning against you, that you may be faced with situations that may very well compromise your standards.
Goals acknowledge that things will not always be perfect but that you have a end result in mind and that everything action you perform is altering that end goal one step at a time.
An interview i heard this year said that “Goals should be written down”, write your goals in either a note taking app or on a physical paper.
Goals are not meant to be static, they are meant to be dynamic. Your Goals evolve as you evolve as your circumstances evolve.
Delving into a bit of personal thought now, the way i see it “Freedom” is what every creature is chasing after or at least all creatures that are evolved enough to have thoughts or goals.
There is not a blanket definition for the word “freedom” as it is unique to each individual, some envision boundless wealth, some envision health, some envision a state of peace. Your perspective on freedom is shaped largely by your environment and experiences as well as your interpretation of said events.

there’s only one theme for 2026,
and that’s being more intentional .!
new year resolution is for pussies, real people have goals they’ve been working on way before the year comes to an end and they’ll continue working on it beyond the year end.
either way,
let’s get it 💯
Lets get it
